台灣人過中秋不能沒有烤肉，而香港人過中秋則有超過130年的「舞火龍」習俗。每年吸引大批遊客觀賞的香港的大坑舞火龍，今年將特別邀請「金鋼狼」金球獎影帝休傑克曼現身，將跟火龍傳承師傅『即學即舞』，感受香港獨有的中秋習俗。

香港中秋節的「大坑舞火龍」習俗源自19世紀，相傳1880年的中秋節前夕，颱風吹襲大坑村，有一條大蟒蛇吞食村裡的家畜，於是村民合力將其打死於破屋內。翌日颱風過後，大蟒蛇屍體無故失蹤，大坑村接著發生瘟疫，多名村民病亡。一名道士指稱大蟒蛇原是龍王之子，龍王因此降疫症懲罰村民，報復殺子之仇。當時有位老翁聲稱神仙托夢，指海龍王最怕火龍，在中秋節連續三晚(即國曆9月26日至9月28日) 以火制水，就可解脫這場災厄，村民照辦並沿襲至今。

走過一世紀，大坑村如今已發展成為香港大都會的一部分，但依舊保存著每逢中秋節前後三晚舞火龍的傳統，神秘的傳說與獨特的慶典儀式，使它在2011年被列為中國第三批國家級的非物質文化遺產。

配合電影《潘恩：航向夢幻島》宣傳，休傑克曼除將出席香港時代廣場的電影宣傳活動，因適逢特別的傳統節慶中秋節，更將入境隨俗、親自感受香港的獨有習俗「大坑舞火龍」活動，成為首位參與盛事的國際影星。儘管舞龍時間僅數分鐘，但由於休傑克曼從未接觸過舞火龍，主辦單位亦特別安排舞火龍已逾半個世紀的陳德輝師傅為他準備速成班，讓他能「即學即舞」，在9月28日活動當天，休傑克曼將擔任最重要的舞龍珠角色，負責帶領長73公尺、逾300人組成的火龍，穿梭大街小巷，歡慶中秋佳節！
